EMT (Pty) Ltd is a networking company uniting in excess of 1 000 manufacturers in South Africa. The main purpose of EMT is the promotion and marketing of the collective produce of its members. The Network was established in 1992 and has since flourished in its promotion and marketing endeavours.

The Head Office of the EMT Network is situated in the heartland of the South African industrial activities and is operational in all other Provinces of the country.

The climate of South Africa, like that of its counterpart, Australia, is ideally suited for the cultivation of Herbs and Alfalfa.

Most of the Herb and Alfalfa farms are situated in the hot arid parts of South Africa where the hot substrata are contrasted with the cool water of flood irrigation. This facts alone, contribute to insect and pest free product sources.

The mineral rich soil, for which South Africa is renowned, provides nourishing products filled to the brim with energy, proteins and vitamins.

Domestic clients of the Network ranges from human food supplement and cosmetic manufacturers through to game farmers for the feeding of game such as elephant, kudu, cattle, sheep, goats and horses.

No chemical fertilisers are used in the cultivation of our basic products, which allows for an organic production approach.

The products we distribute range from supplements for the nutrition of babies to raw sun dried Alfalfa bales and balanced feed mixes.

The Network is now setting its sights on the export market.
